The primary focus of
this grade is Sacred Scripture. The children
also learn about God's revelation and Sacred
Tradition, the Old Testamentits
stories and people, the Eucharistic prayer,
the early Church, learning from the lives of
the saints, and the biblical prayers of the
Mass.
Because it follows the four pillars of the
Catechism of the Catholic Church, this
kid-friendly book − in
full color throughout − parallels the basic
curriculum themes for sixth grade and so can
be used to supplement any Catholic religion
program.
