WATERFORD, CT — The Association of Catholic Publishers (ACP) has announced their winners of the 2023 Excellence in Publishing awards. Publishers submitted a record number of titles in this year’s competition and Twenty-Third Publications received two accolades. Engage Every Family: A Parish Guide to Integrated Faith Formation won an award in the “Resources for Ministry” category.In this practical guide, diocesan and parish leader Denise Utter presents an uplifting, fresh, and flexible approach to faith formation based on the experiences of real Catholic families who have been engaging faith in a whole new way.
Threshold Bible Study: Music, Hymns, and Canticles was recognized in the “Scripture” category this year. In every stage of Israel’s history and into the life of the church, music has played a central role. This latest volume in the Threshold Bible Study series by Stephen J. Binz celebrates and provides great insight and enlightenment on the role of music in Scripture.
